i enjoyed my stay with a stunning view of the Nam Khan River from my room and the fantastic breakfast area that made every morning feel like a treat. It was just a short walk to key spots like the Royal Palace Museum and Wat Xieng Thong, making it easy to explore the best of Luang Prabang each day.

moonlight champa riverview was a lovely place to stay. the staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. breakfast on the terrace had a gorgeous view and was a nice treat each morning. it's just a short stroll to the old town, which is super convenient for exploring.

i almost gave a good review, but this place had some serious issues. the breakfast was super limited and you can’t even help yourself to coffee! also, the bikes were rusty and hard to pedal. i would’ve expected a complimentary drink in my room upon arrival to compensate for the inconvenience, but no such luck here!

Comfortable stay with a beautiful riverside ambiance.

Unfortunately, my experience was marred by an uncomfortably weak AC that struggled to cool the room, especially during the scorching heat of midday. Also, during my stay, I encountered some smoke smell seeping in from outside, which detracted from the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. Lastly, I found the bicycles available for guest use to be quite rusty, making the short trips to the town less enjoyable.

The sewerage smell coming from the washroom was quite off-putting!!! I also found the lack of mosquito nets on the windows rather concerning!!! Bringing cash is needed to avoid high credit card surcharges!!!

This was a solid choice for a short stay in Luang Prabang with a great value-to-price ratio. The staff even packed a breakfast for my early trip, which was a nice surprise. Make sure to check out the riverside area for a peaceful retreat.

The staff were amazing! Always going out of their way to. I mean, they even packed croissants for our day trip! What a thoughtful gesture!
